Pearl of Beauty

light and dark-3It was late afternoon on July day and we walked on our favorite route high above the River Lech. The leaves of the trees were very dense, and so it was pleasantly shady.

This Campanula persicifolia found itself a stage for its big appearance and was caught by one of the rare sunbeams. Usually Campanulas in the Alpine forelands are are light blue, purple or violet, but this one was stood out with its luminous pink hue.
