The whole world is crying for attention: look here, look there, read me, buy me, eat me. 😉
For me, it is often very hard to cut myself off from this crying. But we should hear what our inner voice wants us to say. We should go to our inner space and become silent, we should forget what the mainstream or others wants us to do.
Silence is a great treasure, it helps me to discover the little wonders of life and that’s always my greatest treat.
Wise words, Ilka. Finding that silent sweet spot is always fulfilling. 🙂

Silence closes the mouth and allows us to communicate better with our eyes, ears, and nose. The clearer we will see, hear and feel. What would your life be like for you if you went one day in silence?

Yeah, I often think so, too. I have two very intelligent and energetic children at home and work with many groups of children; silence for a whole day is not on offer at the moment, haha.

I could not agree more Ilka. Your words offer a deep breath in this fast paced world. Very nice.

Your photo does an excellent job of expressing the sentiment of your post…Silence–a delicate, pure, fleeting feather of a treasure, resting in the midst of a dry, over-baked, sharp edged, crackling noise, covering the earth. Beautiful!

Thank you! I like your description. I was fascinated about this tiny and completely calm feather laying in that huge field of leaves rustling which each of my steps. That’s exactly why I chose this photo.
